By sending £5.00 to the DVLA, you can trace the entire history of your car. This I have done, with surprising results!

The car was bought as a present for a lady
living in Heacham. She drove it for two years until she was intimidated by
a bus and a juggernaut. After this she never drove it again, and shortly
afterwards sold it. She still live at the same address, and using the
information supplied by the DVLA I was able to contact her.
Originally the car was Saffron yellow, had wire wheels and a hardtop.
It was also had a different registration number, The DVLA sent me copies of every log book since new. The car has had:
