5 Ib. fresh young garden pea pods
4 oz. sultanas
2 1/2 lb. white sugar
1 gallon water
Rind and juice of 2 large lemons
Nutrient
Johannisberger yeast
Boil the pods gently till tender and strain off the liquor, stir in the sugar and 4 oz, chopped sultanas. When cool add the rind and juice of the lemons, the fermenting yeast and the nutrient. After four days strain and continue the fermentation until dry.
